Working Together Apart

The outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19) has stopped us in our tracks, we find ourselves in a new, uncertain situation and you may be worried about how it could affect your life. It is at times like now that our skills and strengths are tested.

Self-isolation, working from home, managing work/life balance and financial concerns are all factors that can have an effect on our mental wellbeing.

Never have we needed more to reach out to our peers, the people we share mutual experiences and challenges with and find ways to cope during this time.

There are many things you can try that could help. Our live webinars will bring people together to share their experiences and provide information, tips and tools to support you.

Together we are stronger.

What we will cover:

  • Current challenges.
  • Normalising how we feel at the moment.
  • What is working what isn't working.
  • What has been found to be useful with input from some participants and their examples.
  • Advice on ways to create a daily routine that includes looking after yourself.

Leading Together Apart

Whilst many organisations had already made moves towards occasional homeworking arrangements, this sudden and unprecedented situation has left many people working out of the office and separated from each other for significant period of time like never before.

Team Leaders have been left asking themselves questions such as ‘how much contact is enough?’ ‘What do I need to do to keep the team focused on work tasks when so much is going on around them?’ and ‘How do I manage everyone else when I have so much going on myself?’.

As it becomes more important to determine what factors are needed to operate in a successful virtual work environment, we learn that there are specific steps that managers can introduce without a great effort to improve the engagement and productivity of remote employees.

Our live webinars will encourage and bring managers of people together to share their experiences and provide information, tips and tools to their teams.

In response to the uncertainties presented by Covid-19, this workshop focuses on adapting leading teams effectively in a remote setting.

Together we are stronger.

What we will cover:

  • Understanding why people respond & cope in different ways during change.

  • Three steps to help people adapt during uncertainty.

  • The current challenges that team leaders are facing and tips for addressing them.

  • Examples of good leadership/management practices

  • Communicating - six styles to get the balance right.

  • A new normal...looking at the positives now and into the future.

Managing Pressure in lockdown

This short webinar is looking at the impact of uncertainty, change and lack of control on our stress levels and how we acknowledge it and what we should do about it if we find we are becoming overwhelmed. We look at some very effective habit changes and techniques that help not only to alleviate pressure, but also prevent us triggering our stress esponse so frequently in the first place.

To help address the challenges of our current times, we offer breakout discussions and help strategise solutions to the most relevant problems for your employees are experiencing, such as:

  • Struggling with the work vs childcare responsibilities

  • Missing the support/ways of working when you are physically in the office around colleagues

  • Not being able to switch off from working and dealing with the merged home/workspace

This has proved very successful as a first step to beginning those important conversations, offering employees a much needed forum to connect and voice their concerns in a constructive way.
